Flight Procedures

Approval of Instrument Flight Procedures

The Danish Civil Aviation and Railway Authority (DCARA) is the competent authority for instrument flight procedures used in Denmark, Faroe Islands and Greenland. Instrument flight procedures originating from a certified FDP service provider is generally considered authority-approved and do not have to be specifically approved by DCARA, unless DCARA deems this necessary.

All new instrument flight procedures and changes thereto must be notified to the DCARA before publication, deployment, and use, in order to determine which procedures must be approved.

For this purpose, DCARA's FPD notification form is to be used and must be send by e-mail to fpd-notifikation@trafikstyrelsen.dk
